Below are the activities that will be available for the Men’s Adventure Day. Once you read through the options click the button at the bottom of the page to sign up for what you would like to do. After you sign up for your activity, you will be directed to the boxed lunch order form. You may sign up more than one person on the forms. Looking forward to a great day!
Being located in the middle of the Sierra, we are surrounded by the beauty of God’s creation! Let us take you on a guided hike to see a mountain lake, or a wonderful view. We will determine the perfect hike for the guys that come along. Chinquapin Adventures has gear that will help your day be more successful, be sure to check that out too.
Camp is surrounded by miles of wonderful single track mountain bike trails. They vary in difficulty from beginner to expert. We will provide someone to guide your day as well as a shuttle for the bikes. Please provide your own bike and helmet. We have a limited amount of helmets if you need one.
The Stanislaus National Forest offers endless fishing from ponds and lakes to rivers and streams. We will explore some of these areas for a great day of fishing. Who knows, maybe you will catch dinner… The exact locations will be determined just before the day.
Travel a short distance from camp for some great single-pitch rock climbing. We will choose an area best suited to the group’s ability. We will carpool to the trailhead and have a short approach to the climbing area. All equipment and trained staff will be provided.
Spend the day at camp! Enjoy relaxing in the shade, or take part in some of the camp activities. From horseshoes to disc golf there are games that can keep you busy. Or maybe head out on some of our trails to explore God’s creation. There will be an opportunity to learn Orienteering as well, see how to use a map and compass to get where you want to go.
See the beauty of God’s creation as you explore the area by motorcycle. The Sonora Pass is renowned for its wonderful turns and amazing views. Join some other guys with the same passion as you as you explore together. There are dirt road opportunities as well. The route will be determined by interest.
With many miles of dirt roads throughout the Stanislaus National Forest, you may want to explore. If you have a vehicle with high clearance and want to get out there, join others who do as well. Roads will be chosen by ability and experience. It is always better to be out there with other people. Let us know if you want to just ride along as well.
Clues for Views
Do you enjoy figuring out clues? Do you want to go places you may have never been? Maybe you want to take part in this driving tour. You will get clues that will take you different places in the mountains to find views and more clues. There will be some dirt roads involved but high clearance is not necessary.
Using a GPS or the app on your phone. Head out with some other guys and see if you can find the Caches around Pinecrest. If you have never done Geocaching, we will help you get started. It will be a fun day for everyone of all ages.
