Dodge Ridge Ski Area
Only two miles away and open mid-December to mid-April, Dodge Ridge offers skiing and snowboarding all winter (weather permitting). They also rent cross country skis and snowshoes.

Sledding
Groomed sledding hills can be found at Leland High Sierra Snow Play Area. They offer a safe sledding environment, with a number of groomed sledding runs. For more information you can visit www.snowplay.com.

Ice skating
Ice skating is available at the Long Barn Ice Skating Rink. Groups usually participate in this activity during the evenings after dinner. This is a great option for group outings during winter months. For more information call the Long Barn Ice Skating Rink at 209-586-3533.
Horseback Riding
Experience a 1-2 hour horseback ride in the beautiful Stanislaus National Forest. Your group will surely enjoy this experience in God’s creation. For more information visit Aspen Meadows Pack Station.
Hiking
Take one of many trails in the area and enjoy the Stanislaus National Forest. One of the most used trails leads to Pinecrest Lake and is only a half mile hike. For the more adventurous hikers, there is 4 mile trail that surrounds the lake and goes across the dam. This is just one of many breathtaking trails and take a few hours to complete.
Pinecrest Lake (Swimming)
Pinecrest lake has several beaches and swimming areas to enjoy during the summer. It’s a great opportunity to swim or sunbathe on warm summer days. For your convenience we can provide sack lunches upon request.
Movies Under the Stars
The Pinecrest Theater plays movies under the stars throughout the summer months. These are newly released movies and are always family friendly. This is an experience you cannot miss. For more information visit www.pinecresttheater.com.
Bicycling
Bicycle rentals are available at the Pinecrest Hub located near Pinecrest Lake (between the post office and the art gallery). There are many roads and trails to ride on throughout Pinecrest.
